Yoga Nidra is not about reading a script in a relaxed voice. It is the art of guiding yourself and another into the deepest state of consciousness where deep rest, spacious awareness and Presence is experienced.

Focus of the Certification Training

This virtual training is for teachers and seekers who want to explore Yoga Nidra beyond a technique—as a state of consciousness.

Our emphasis will be on:

  • Sacred Self Care, Creativity, Intuition, Healing, Ritual, Nature as Teacher and Sankalpa Shakti
  • Understanding the difference between Yoga Nidra and Deep Relaxation
  • Creating your Yoga Nidra Nest
  • Learn restorative poses to support the body for Yoga Nidra practice for pregnancy, trauma, exhaustion etc.
  • Auspicious Sankalpa and Sankalpa Shakti
  • How to lead yourself towards the state of Yoga Nidra
  • Ritual practices including mantra, yantra, likita japa and Sankalpa rituals
  • Creating a Sacred Abode of Practice
  • Cultivating Devotion in Practice
  • Tantric Wisdom and True Nature
  • Preparatory and Post Practices: Pranayama, Joints and Glands, Point to Point, Moon Bath
  • Creative exploration as a means to process the experience of yoga nidra practice

Training Dates

You are required to be LIVE in person for 90 percent of the training and all participants are required to be present for the entire Online Yoga Nidra Embodiment Retreat

All training sessions will take place at:

  • 12pm-4pm PT
  • 1pm-5pm MT
  • 2pm-6pm CT
  • 3pm-7pm ET
  • For international participants, please click on each date, as the end of daylight savings will shift the timing depending on your timezone.

Course Breakdown:

  • 40 hours LIVE online teaching
  • 10 hour Subtle Body Wisdom pre-requisite (if accepted into the training, you will receive this course to complete prior to the training, as part of your deposit)
  • 38 hours home study/ mentorship/ online learning (approximately 2.5 hour a week across the 16 week course)
  • 20 hours self-sadhana

About the Prerequisite:
Subtle Body Wisdom

If you are accepted into the training and place a deposit, you will receive access to Subtle Body Wisdom, a 10-hour self-paced, pre-recorded course that explores the subtle maps of the gunas, panchamaya koshas, chakras, and prana vayus, guided by Tracee Stanley and Dr. Chanti Tacoronte-Perez.

This 10-hour course is included in the 108 hours of the training and is also included as part of your deposit.

3. If you are approved to register following the interview, you will receive registration instructions.

Tuition:

  • Training registration is $2,595
  • Once you are approved to register, you may save your spot with a $300 deposit that will count toward the full tuition. (Deposits are non-refundable but are able to be applied to another training with Tracee and Chanti taken within a year.)
  • 5-month payment plans are available and must begin no later than March 1, 2025
  • Financial scholarship application will be available for approved applicants

Meet Your Guides

Dr. Chanti Tacoronte-Perez is a Cuban-American artist-author, ritualist, and non-clinical depth psychologist. She believes that images speak a profound language; her life’s work is a translator of the unseen and an advocate for the imaginal. She holds two master's degrees in Engaged Humanities and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. In 2023 she completed her doctoral dissertation Navegando Liminal: Rituals to Translate the Image of the Wound. Her work and teaching follows and welcomes, imagination, creativity, dreaming, and deep rest.


She teaches workshops, and collaborative training focused on creativity, yantra painting, dreaming, intuitive movement, myth, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra. Her passion and aim are to inspire all to rediscover their creative self by weaving the blessings with the wounds while honoring the land and ancestors.


Dr. Chanti also works individually with clients using a transdisciplinary approach through creative therapeutics.

Tracee Stanley (she/her) is the author of the bestselling book Radiant Rest: Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation and Awakened Clarity and The Luminous Self: Sacred Yogic Practices & Rituals to Remember Who You Are (Shambhala Publications).
